Mindful Touch

Touch is the frontier between self and others – it helps us recognise where we end and someone else begins, and how we relate to each other.
Research shows that physical touch reduces levels of pain, increases social trust, and it’s our primary language for compassion.

Touch is also where trauma and neglect happens, and the body keeps the score of what we have survived.
How can you relearn touch as a safe, nurturing experience in a world where touch is ‘all or nothing’?
This is a space to explore that. No hidden agendas, no expectations of any kind – just honest conversation and human connection. How does that sound?
*Note: This service requires a free intro call to assess suitability.

What does a session look like?

First, we talk about what type of physical contact means connection to you. We use mindfulness, noticing each other’s presence in the room. When trust and safety have grown enough, we start exploring social gestures (even micro touch if you need less) and how that feels in your body.
